Mark has been active in the Point of Sale business since 1979 and for a few years before that as a janitor and delivery person for the family business. From 1979 to 1983 he worked full time in Sales and administration while earning a BS in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University (then SMSU). Industry achievements include becoming the youngest President ever elected of ICRDA (now RSPA), the national trade association for POS dealers from 1994 to 1996. Mark has also served several terms on the MICROS Dealers Association Board of Directors and continues to be very active in that association.
“I truly enjoy working with our sales team and potential customers to build a positive, long lasting business relationship.”
In addition to complete commitment to the long term success of the company, Mark spends as much time as possible with his wife and three beautiful daughters. Any extra time after those two priorities might find him flying passengers in need as part of the Angel Flight Central network of private pilots.

Corey Norton has been a member of the Carroll Business Systems team for over 15 years. Prior to CBS, Corey spent several years in the hospitality industry working in hotels and restaurants at various positions. Corey began his career at CBS as a Programmer and Installer of Micros Point of Sale Systems. This early beginning led to Corey possessing a basis of knowledge of how a Micros system truly works in a restaurant and the business impact of properly using a Point of Sale system. Corey now uses that knowledge to help independent restaurateurs make better decisions in their business.
“Micros systems have many features and most operators will not use all of them. I am happiest when I can help a customer solve a real business problem just by implementing a particular Micros feature.”
Outside of work at Carroll Business Systems Corey enjoys spending time with his family. Boating, Camping, and Snow Skiing top the list of family activities. Corey’s two children are active in Sports and Scouting, keeping him and his wife Jennifer constantly on the move.
Rick is responsible for installations and support of all the Hospitality and Grocery products sold by Carroll Business Systems. His 22 years of experience at Carroll Business Systems and a number of years in the grocery business gives him the knowledge to understand the real world situations and challenges that restaurant owners and grocery owners face.
“I thoroughly enjoy working with our customers to help them find solutions to new problems everyday.”
